To live up to her father’s reign in power, she was sent to a private school in UK in Elizabeth College, Guernsey. During her years in that school, she also took martial arts as her extra-curricular activities. Just before graduating high school, she gained a black belt in taekwondo and karate-do and furthermore she mastered all the 8-Dans required to get to the highest level in the karate-do’s black belt examination. Then she went to Oxford University majoring in Nuclear Physics (Energy and Resource department). By scoring an average pointer of 3.97, it is not surprising that she’s offered to do her PhD Nuclear Energy. Her Phd research entitiled “ Subatomic Nuclear Particle as the Source of Energy for the Future in Aerospace Technology” won the gold medal in the Geneva’s Technological Convention.
After obtaining her PhD in Oxford, she got a job offer in NASA in the Analytical Energy Research Dept. By joining the team at the age of 22, she’s considered as one of the youngest team in NASA. Yet, by being young she also proved to them that she’s equally smart and better in fact from some of the people there. But being bright and smart even though something to be proud of, but still she couldn’t satisfy herself since her passion is to be a showgirl. So after a year in NASA, she quit the job and move back to Malaysia to live up to her passion. But it is not an easy decision since she’s objected by her family. But hoping that someday that they will understand, she ran away and start making her own choice in her life for the first time.
Starting off her career in local showgirl industry is pretty tough. Moreover in Malaysia it is considered as not recognizable as a job at all. But determined by her passion she kept on pursuing it no matter what is/are the obstacle ahead. To start of her career as a showgirl, she got acquainted with a famous showgirl Ms.Sheeda Pookey. Her first debut was in Down Under Club@Nu School Discotheque singing Unfaithful by Rihanna. From there, a life turning experience for has begun. People were caught awestruck by her tremendous performance. Clubs after clubs keep calling her for a show despite the heavy fee that they have to pay. Being famous also came with a price. Though most of the people love her, but there are some people who’s just couldn’t stand to see people being successful. Comments like “ Alyssa boleh dijadikan pentas untuk dipijak” and “Layak ke nak pakai baju hatta, tengok badan la” are some of the hate-mail at that time. But she kept on being determine and strong, ignoring what people say and pursue to be the best in the industry.
